Fri, 18 April 2008 A great finger food that children love. I always have a package or two of firm tofu in my freezer, so a perfect replacement for beef or chicken in any recipe is just a quick thaw away! Freezing tofu is an easy way to give the tofu the texture and flavor people crave. Easy, delicious and a terrific way to get soy into your diet. This is sure to become a family favorite.Comments[0] |

Fri, 8 February 2008 Chickpeas are one of my all time favorite foods and they’re jam packed with nutrition. Boasting high levels of protein, calcium, minerals and lots of fiber, chickpeas or garbonzo beans, should find their way into your weekly menu.Comments[0] |
Fri, 1 February 2008 These super easy Tex-Mex inspired homefries are low in fat and big on flavor. They're great for breakfast sweetened with a drizzle of maple syrup, make a great light lunch, or delicious served as a side for dinner. Comments[0] |
Fri, 25 January 2008 I grew up with a dish that was simply pasta, lightly fried onion and bacon (back in the day!) salt and pepper. This was a great dish to make in a pinch or to use up leftover pasta. Since my conversion to vegetarianism I still make this for a quick supper, but I use veggie bacon and round out the pasta with additional veggies.Comments[0] |
Sat, 19 January 2008 Hi Toni,
Great recipe, as usual!
I became a vegetarian almost 4 years ago, and it was tough going at first, but with quite a bit of help from you, I am eating healthier and tastier than ever before!

Fri, 4 January 2008 Crepes are a wonderful, versitile and delicious alternative to pasta, pastry and wraps. Crepes always look as though you went through a great deal of trouble to make them, but in fact, they’re quite easy. This recipe for Chickpea Crepes is not only simple, it’s vegan and more nutritious and lower in fat than traditional egg crepes. With a few small adjustments this easily goes from savory to sweet. Fill em with anything you like, or try them with our Roasted Cauliflower and Butternut Squash.

Fri, 14 December 2007 Tofu Sour Cream is a wonderful non dairy substitute for regular sour cream. And it's so easy and delicious. This is wonderful as a base for spreads, dips or simply scooped on baked potatoes! What you can add to it is only limited by your imagination!Comments[0] |
Thu, 6 December 2007 I have to say, roasting is one of my favorite methods of preparing vegetables. It’s so easy and in my opinion brings out the very best of just about any vegetable. This recipe boasts few ingredients but is packed with flavor and flexibility. I will serve this as a vegetable side dish or light entree. The roasted garlic is superb and the ‘drippings’ are caramelized to perfection, just waiting to be mopped up with warm bread.
